Both books are easy to read and understand with large text, but best of all the book layout makes it easy to find information about specific model years without spend a lot of time searching through the sections. And even though the subject matter is specific to 1914-1967 Harley-Davidson sidecars, many of the parts and procedures discussed in the book are applicable to H-D sidecars beyond 1967. So, whether you are restoring a specific year sidecar model or just want to know more about the history of Harley-Davidson sidecars, these books are a must have.
Also available is the 1914-1935 Harley-Davidson Sidecar Book Supplement, which is a 95-page quick reference guide to Part Numbers, Descriptions, and Finishes for 1914-35 H-D Sidecars.
